One shot in this sequence shows the lead characters escaping from the police via a hatch that leads them onto the roof of the Sky Bridge as the camera circles around and pulls away. Separate elements were combined to achieve the shot including a full Milo motion control move of the actors escaping through a mock up hatch against green screen.

The original move data could then be used by our “rig chase” system to scale and reposition the Milo camera relative to the model at a later date. The model itself was some 30 feet tall and a special deck was constructed 25 feet up to position the Milo upon.

The director required the move to pull back a lot further that had originally been planned to reveal more of the model building. Using the “rig chase” software, the path of the move could then be extended and seamlessly blended to match the original move.
