in association with Control Freaks Using a Milo motion control rig on location at the O2 arena, this is a good example of crowd replication. The shot called for the appearance of many thousands of people coming out from the store, but only about 150 extras were actually used. The move was programmed on set and an accurate mix and overlay system was used to check that the crowd did not ‘overlap’ each other between passes. The store itself was added in post production.
