TECHNICAL BREAKDOWN

Breakdown of a Pre-Viz sequence into elements that either need to be filmed of created in CG. Analysis of each element to be shot. The analysis determines the unique requirements of each element.

Creation of a shooting solution for each element; based upon its requirements. Our solutions take into account the unique budget and schedule of a production. A typical shooting solution could include any of the following techniques and equipment.

PLANS AND MEASUREMENTS

We provide detailed set plans, measurements and timings for cameras, lighting, green screens and actors.

RIG CHASE SOFTWARE - PRE PRODUCTION

We use our custom Rig Chase software to check if a Pre-Viz camera move is achievable on a Motion Control rig. If there are issues with the Pre-Viz move we can suggest or make adjustments to the Pre-Viz so that the move becomes achievable. Rig Chase can also find the best configuration for a motion control shoot and flag any potential problems with the set design or shooting solution.

CREW COLLABORATION

We discuss and agree shooting methodologies and set plans with key members of the crew during pre-production. Agreeing complex plans in pre-production, allows the crew to approach the shoot in a well prepared and methodological manner, which guarantees efficiency savings in both schedule and budget.
